Michael Harris joined Stone Grzegorek & Gonzalez in 2012. Mr. Harris has over 18 years of experience in business immigration law, representing clients in various fields, including hi-tech, media, science, engineering, research, industrial, manufacturing, financial, entertainment and medical.
Mr. Harris’ broad experience includes H-1B, L, TN, O and E visas, as well as labor certification, immigrant petitions and national interest waivers. His background includes hosting and moderating corporate seminars and regional conferences for Fortune 500 companies on business immigration related topics.
Mr. Harris earned his law degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. During his legal studies, Mr. Harris maintained active membership in the Minority Law Students Association and served as an officer of the Black Law Students Association.
Prior to law school, Mr. Harris pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology. While a student at Berkeley, Mr. Harris was twice selected as an NCAA Track & Field All-American and served as Team Captain in his junior and senior years.
Since joining the firm, Mr. Harris has focused his practice on EB-5 investor visas and employment- based immigration matters.
Mr. Harris was born in the United Kingdom and currently holds U.S./U.K. dual–citizenship. He resides in Los Angeles, where he is an avid practitioner of martial arts and meditation.
