Barbara Stone has been practicing business immigration law for 5 years. She began her career in immigration assisting clients in Washington College of Law’s Domestic Violence Clinic. After law school, she represented foreign medical graduates in a variety of immigration matters in the metro Detroit area. Ms. Stone continued her immigration practice in Goodyear, Arizona before joining Stone Grzegorek & Gonzalez LLP. She has considerable experience representing clients in a wide range of business immigration matters. Ms. Stone has represented a diverse array of clients, from small start-up companies to multinational corporations.
Ms. Stone’s current practice focuses on complex business immigration matters including O-1 and EB-1 petitions for individuals of extraordinary ability, E-2 investors, J-1 persecution and hardship waivers, and L-1 multinational managers and executives. She also handles appeals to the Administrative Appeals Office, Requests for Evidence, and Notices of Intent to Deny.
In addition, Ms. Stone routinely files H-1B petitions for employers in the healthcare, technology, education, and business industries. She has helped numerous clients in these same fields obtain their permanent resident status through employer sponsored petitions.
Ms. Stone was born and raised in central Ohio and is a life-long Ohio State Buckeyes fan. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and hiking with her husband and their beagle, Daisy.
