Hiring for PERM Business Paralegal


Under the supervision of lead attorneys the paralegal will be responsible for business immigration matters.  The successful candidate must have in-depth knowledge with H-1B and L-1 petitions, PERM labor certification applications and employment based green card processing.

Essential Functions

The paralegal will work closely with experienced business immigration attorneys assisting in all aspects of business immigration, primarily the PERM Labor Certification Process with other responsibilities such as non-immigrant and immigrant visa processing.  The ideal candidate will:

  • Analyze case documents.
  • Prepare applications for filing.
  • Draft petitions and specialized support letters.
  • Assist in Recruitment application process.
  • Draft Business Necessity Statements.
  • Analyze job descriptions.
  • Communicate with clients, and foreign nationals, as needed.
  • Work collegially in a team environment.

Job Qualifications/Education/Experience

  • Minimum 3 years business immigration PERM work experience.
  • Demonstrated and detailed knowledge of Labor Certification Process and procedures.
  • Bachelor Degree required.
  • Paralegal Certification strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of required qualifications of Foreign Nationals for PERM cases.
  • Experience with Law Logix a plus.
